Should I buy my eSIM before traveling or after arriving in Vietnam?
Before traveling is strongly recommended. You can install the eSIM at home while connected to Wi-Fi, so everything is ready when you land. In most cases, the data plan only starts counting when your device connects to the network in Vietnam — so installing early does not waste any usage time.

Do I need to provide my passport to buy a Vietnam eSIM?
No. Select your plan, complete payment, and receive your QR code by email. No passport upload or paperwork is required.
How do I place an order?

GoVnSIM accepts Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay, Amex, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Cash payment is available if you visit our Hanoi office in person.

Delivery and Activation
When will I receive my QR code after purchase?
Your QR code is sent automatically to your email within 1 to 10 minutes after successful payment. If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder before contacting support.
Where do I find my eSIM activation code?
Your activation code (SM-DP+ address) is included in the same order confirmation email as your QR code. You will need this if you choose manual installation instead of scanning.
Installing the eSIM before your flight does not start the plan early.When does my data plan start?
Can the same QR code be used on multiple phones?
No. Each QR code can only be activated on one device. If you try to scan it again on a different phone it will not work. This is why you should never delete the eSIM without checking with support first.
