No. Simply select your eSIM plan, order online, and get your QR code via email. No passport upload or paperwork required.
– **Viettel eSIM**: Data only, no Vietnam phone number.
– **Mobifone eSIM**: Includes a local Vietnam number (+84.89x.xxx.xxx) for receiving calls and SMS.
iOS: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Scan the QR code sent via email.
Android: Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile Network → Add Carrier → Scan QR code.
No. Each QR code can be activated on one device only. Scanning more than once will result in error.

If you cannot scan your QR code, install manually by entering the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your confirmation email.

  • Try a different phone camera, or enter details manually.
